Brooks O. Rennie is the Head of Investor Relations at Byline Bancorp, Inc. (NYSE: BY), where he established and leads the company’s Investor Relations. With a proven track record in fostering transparent shareholder engagement, Mr. Rennie brings deep expertise in capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate strategy.
Prior to joining Byline in 2021, Mr. Rennie served as Assistant Vice President, Investor Relations at U.S. Bancorp (NYSE: USB). Earlier in his career, he was Officer, Investor Relations and Corporate Strategy at TCF Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: TCF), where he played a key role in strategic initiatives, including a transformative $3.6 billion merger of equals deal.
Mr. Rennie currently serves as President of NIRI Chicago and has been a member of its Board of Directors since 2022. He previously served on the NIRI Twin Cities Board of Directors as Executive Vice President and Treasurer from 2018 to 2024. In 2019, he was recognized by NIRI as a “40 Under 40” honoree for his contributions to the investor relations profession.
Mr. Rennie earned his M.B.A, with honors, from DePaul University – Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, complementing his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Iowa State University – Ivy College of Business. He is passionate about strategic leadership, operational excellence, and creating value for stakeholders through clear communication and innovation.
